Fun Fact:

The majority of Italian immigrants to Madison were from a small town twenty-five miles south of Palermo, Piana dei Greci. There are many key differences between Sicilians and Italians — one of them being a distinct dialect. Sicilian incorporates a blend of words rooted in Arabic, Hebrew, Byzantine, and Norman.
